Dehn was Minnesota-born and early on he received some art education at the Minnesota School of Fine Arts. But if you are a collector, possibly even in Minnesota, and the rarity of the image and subject matter appeals to you, then you will be able to mat this to the point where you will actually have a very presentable image and signature area. If you are a dealer this print is likely not for you. The great bulk of the damage is to the margins, and the condition there is poor-staining, torn and missing areas, foxing, wrinkling, and a dig. The image area has survived remarkably well, with a crease in the sky at right center, and water discoloration at right edge just entering the image. This one has been abused in its lifetime, but, who knows how many of the one hundred remain, and in what condition they might be found. The artist printed 100 copies ("100 prints" at lower left margin in his hand in pencil). This lithograph sheet measures 12 3/4" by 16 1/4". Pencil signed limited edition print, unframed, titled at bottom left margin "Minnesota Farm" and signed and dated at lower right by the by noted American WPA Regionalist artist ADOLF DEHN (1895-1968).
